Instructors

	Ed Stone - Director Ed began teaching for Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Inc., in 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. He became a Certified Judge in 1961 and later became Arthur Murray's Regional Dance Chairman. Between 1976 and 1983, Ed was a member of Arthur Murray's International Dance Board. Ed holds a dual doctorate in International and American style. He danced Pro-Am until 1976.

	Michell Stone - Director and Studio Manager Michell graduated in Economics from UC Santa Cruz. She is a certified teacher with dual fellowship degrees from the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (USISTD) in both Latin and Ballroom (highly commended). She is an active Pro-Am competitor and frequently serves as a judge at ballroom dancing competitions.

	Joey McDonald - Instructor Joey is a former student of Monterey Peninsula Dance. He became an instructor, leading his pupils in Showcases and Medal Tests beginning in April of 1997. He is a serious body builder, runner (having entered 10K runs along the Pacific Grove coast line) and student of nutrition.

	Shaun - Instructor Shaun is from Philadelphia, PA. He has always enjoyed dancing and has experience with hip-hop and ballroom styles of dance. He was trained in ballroom by Arthur Murray, and has continued his training on the West coast with Ed Stone’s Monterey Peninsula Dance Studio. Shaun also has an affinity for all kinds of music, as he works as a professional DJ. He will be more than able to help you learn any step or assist in choreographing the perfect routine for weddings or other events.
